Recently the MacOS Settings app introduced a new section under devices, placing settings for dedicated mice on the 'Mouse' page and the trackpad on the 'Trackpad' page. Users can now turn off mouse acceleration in the menus! Keep in mind, though, the toggle works the same for both mouse and trackpad sections—they share the same internal configuration. Quirky.
