I think Apple made the same changes to Mac OS with Mojave that Michael Jackson did to his image. It fixed some issues, but it’s still not working well. I’d rather go back to Sierra, but I don’t want to start over from the beginning.

I didn’t realize this before. In fact, Mojave was the top performer for my Late 2009 Macbook after Snow Leopard. El Capitan, Sierra, and High Sierra (HS especially) ran well.
