I've been a regular Mac user, working with both a MacBook and an iMac. New software always gets my attention, but Mojave stands out because its bright white theme feels less harsh on my eyes now. The Dark Mode not only gives a cleaner look but also boosts productivity while reducing strain—a benefit I value. The dynamic desktop that shifts with the machine’s time is nice, and I appreciate the small improvements new apps bring. The stack organization tool is particularly useful; it lets me tag items on my desktop and automatically tidy things up by sorting them into neat stacks. Labeling files with metadata and then cleaning up their appearance with this system makes finding what I need easier. Opening a preview of a file using the spacebar in Mojave is a nice touch. Quickly marking or trimming files for sharing with teammates or sending via email feels much faster than before. Connectivity remains the most appealing upgrade, and capturing photos instantly to paste into Pages adds another layer of convenience. Overall, these updates make owning Apple products more enjoyable and efficient.

It's quite solid overall. I think it performs well on high DPI displays, though it functions adequately on my 2012 13" MacBook Pro. It runs smoothly, likely on Beta 9 (the newest version). The dark mode works nicely, even though I haven't explored many other features since I primarily use a work iMac and prefer stability. Overall, Mojave feels similar to iOS 12—just with minor updates and polish from High Sierra and iOS 11, making the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Absolutely, I share your thoughts. The minor adjustments to the visuals and accessibility really enhance the experience. I planned to install the Beta on both my iMac and MacBook, but I didn’t want any risks. My previous attempt with iOS 11 was problematic—it completely broke the iPhone 7.

I've experienced no problems with my MacBook Pro, just a few slowdowns and occasional glitches on my iPhone X. For instance, the settings app won't load if it's already open—just swipe to close and reopen, but the X runs so smoothly it feels like an extra second. If it freezes, a restart usually takes no more than 30 seconds. Still, I'm generally quite stable, around 98% of the time.

It would be best to install the Beta on all your devices.

I would set it up on the least important device available. If you're confident it runs smoothly, proceed further. Always save your files beforehand, especially if you have important information to protect. So far, I haven't encountered significant issues on my system.

I've ensured everything is safely stored online, so I'm protected from hardware issues related to the operating system.

It wouldn't be wise to damage your hardware unless your MacBook is one of those with touchbars—those tend to have some issues, so I'm not sure how they'd handle a beta version. Still, with Time Machine you can simply revert changes easily, and even after a full OS upgrade, the SSDs on newer models are incredibly fast, usually finishing in under an hour.

Dewit. I tried one of those MacBooks at the Apple Store and they really deliver power. Even handling 4K filters and transitions in FCP X was manageable—though not as fast as a MacBook Pro or iMac, it’s impressive for a notebook the size of a regular one.
