In my organization, we have one computer that is on our Active Directory, but whenever a user logs in, it fails to login and says that it failed to login, and it created a temporary account. Is there a way to stop it from doing this, preferably without having to reimage it?
rename the C:\Users\[Name] directory if present, then delete the related registry entry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList (save it first). This resets the system as if it had never logged in. If they regain a normal session after logging in, you can restore access to the old folder for file recovery via OneDrive. Once confirmed, delete the directory. It seems the main challenge would be the authentication failure at login.
