Hey everyone. I’m trying to install Max OS X on my laptop for some enjoyment and to run it as my main system. I’ve checked YouTube, but I don’t have a Mac device, so I’m looking into using a USB drive or a virtual machine. The Unibeast doesn’t seem to load the El Capitan on USB. Any tips?

You need to configure the VM to load the image first before accessing it.

Search for secure locations to install OSX and set up a virtual machine. You can create a bootable USB inside.

Sure, I get it. You're likely to succeed and then set up the USB in a Mac OS X virtual machine.

It's tough to find a cracked OS X version. If you manage to get one, it's largely useless because updates aren't possible and most Windows PCs can't run the latest macOS or macOS apps. I own a MacBook Pro with a 15 Retina display from 2015, and I've used a Packard Bell laptop before. From what I've experienced, getting macOS on a Windows machine isn't easy, but it's not impossible. If you're serious about macOS, you should definitely get an original product. -Lars

It's true that Windows is straightforward for installing macOS X. Some people mentioned you can't update it, but you can still get it from the Apple App Store if you own a Mac.

You're just starting out here, so I'm not sure if linking other sites is okay. If your laptop works, you might try hackintosh. Visit the site for your model at tymonicx.com and look for a guide specific to your device. It's not overly complicated once you follow the instructions. The biggest hurdle will likely be the lack of support for most Wi-Fi cards in OS X—you'll need a compatible USB adapter. Without UNIX experience, I set up a hackintosh in about two days after some troubleshooting. It's challenging but achievable. Good luck!
