You’re considering using Parallels to run Windows on your MacBook 16. The base model includes 16GB RAM, so upgrading to 32GB would be feasible. Running Windows with Parallels typically works well even with 8GB dedicated RAM, though performance may vary depending on the workload and system configuration.

Absolutely need 32GB. 8GB works for light tasks but falls short. Keep in mind that future updates could demand more memory. My 13-inch MacBook Pro has 8GB which isn’t sufficient. It runs fine, but when multiple apps are open—especially Photoshop Elements—I experience slow performance.

Are you referring to launching a virtual machine? Running Windows on Bootcamp doesn't allocate separate RAM for each OS; instead, it uses the full available memory.

It varies based on your goals for the Windows VM; without those details, all answers rely on guesswork

VM software is similar to VM tools, meaning it functions as a virtual machine. The answer varies—some prefer a 4GB Windows VM for simple tasks, while others need more power for intensive work.

The phrase was quite similar to a parallel structure, which might not be clear for many non-native speakers.
