You're facing an issue with your mid-2012 Mac Pro and Fortnite not launching properly. The error message "OpenGL Not Supported" suggests your system doesn't support OpenGL, which is required for Fortnite. Despite upgrading to High Sierra, the problem persists. Check if you have the latest macOS updates installed and ensure your graphics card drivers are current. Also, verify that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for Fortnite.

Your MacPro5 has a powerful setup: two 3.46 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon processors, 64 GB of memory at 1333MHz DDR3, and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card with 1 GB. Let me know if you need more details.

Sorry, the only way forward is to install Windows via Bootcamp and try it, or buy a newer Mac that uses the updated Metal API and no longer supports OpenGL. Any version older than 2013, specifically version 6.1, won’t work. This problem will affect every game using Unreal Engine.

I've noticed several discussions suggesting Unreal Engine 4.14 works with OpenGL and can be forced to run. The main issue is these talks aren't applicable to Fortnite and don't function properly. More details would help, if you can share. Thanks!
