Hey, I noticed your SSD has been acting up recently—sometimes it disconnects and forces a restart. I assumed it was the drive itself, so I swapped it out and still had issues. One other SSD using a SATA cable also stopped working after that one time. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

When working with SSDs I often think the BIOS is the fix. HDDs were just a temporary solution for spinning disks, and SSDs are similar. A lot of makeshift fixes and sticks—really fragile. Maybe trying to reflash the BIOS could help, but it’s uncertain if it will work.

It seems the BIOS needs to be updated, possibly by flashing it. On one of my computers, I don’t even have the screws on it. If it’s not the BIOS, then it’s likely the M2 port on the motherboard.
