I believe you might have over-tightened something during installation. Could you share more details about what you're trying to remove? This will help suggest the best approach. Thanks!

This discussion could be helpful. You might find double-sided tape useful.

1. Insert the SSD and secure it firmly.
2. Use a Dremel if you're okay; draw a straight line for a flat head tool.
3. Apply super glue. fasten the screw with a metal rod (small screwdriver) and let it harden for 3-4 hours, then remove.
Tip: Avoid using an extractor screw—it can cause damage.

The likelihood of getting what you need is low. The screw size seems likely around 2mm or 2.5mm, which may not be standard. It's hard to identify from the images—especially how the nut connects to the board. You might find a smd-nut, a type of nut that bonds directly onto a PCB without a hex grip. If it matches, consider purchasing a replacement on AliExpress and then removing the old one to install the new. Alternatively, you could extract the smaller module and fit it into the corresponding hole, or look for a m.2 screw kit on AliExpress. A basic soldering iron should suffice if needed.

Thanks for the assistance. I resolved it with a 1mm drill bit.
