It's likely more affordable to purchase a single 1TB M.2 NVMe storage, rather than two 500GB units. This particular model is a solid budget option https://pcpartpicker.com/product/BhmFf7/...ds100t2b0c

I’m doing the same. Swapped my other NVMe for an SSD just to test it out. I only wanted one to try and can’t go bigger without having to reinstall everything again. That’s what I like. One for the OS, one for games.

The key feature is NVMe, not M.2. They also offer M.2 SATA options, which can be misleading. A 500GB drive is enough for a boot disk. For a game drive, I’d aim for at least 1TB. I’ve already used up my 2TB SATA SSD for games. NVMe is definitely worth it for the boot drive, but a 1TB SATA version works fine for games. The difference won’t be noticeable in performance.

Oh ok awesome! Thank you everyone! I had my eyes on the NVMe one linked below. But I will get the 1TB version if there is one. Hopefully that will be good for the OS and games and such! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086BGWNY8/?co..._lig_dp_it

Purchase the WD Black SN750, priced identically to this model on Amazon but significantly improved.

The p2 seems a bit off, I doubt I'd understand it. Consider an A2000 instead, which is much improved.
