Hello! I've just installed a new PC and haven't seen any display signal even after turning it on. The fans are running, components are heating up, but nothing appears on the screen. I've checked the GPU in an older model and it worked fine, so it's likely not the graphics card. I'm uncertain if the issue lies with the motherboard or the CPU. Also, the M.2 SSD isn't showing up at all in my previous setup. Here are your specs: motherboard Gigabyte B650M, CPU Ryzen 5 7500F, GPU RX 6700 XT, RAM Crucial Pro DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) at 6000MHz, storage Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe, power supply Corsair CX750. The 7500F lacks separate graphics, so video output will appear only when connected to a GPU. 2) If the SSD isn’t detected on another system, temporarily remove it to rule out interference. 3) AMD CPUs and boards may require extended memory training during startup. I recommend enabling it and waiting 5-10 minutes. 4) If the issue persists after these steps, inspect the debug LEDs on the motherboard and share a photo for further assistance.
Thanks for your response. I followed the advice and let the PC run. After some time, it restarts itself, then restarts again later, and finally powers off on its own. I also tried relocating the RAM to other slots, but it didn’t help. I’ve been looking for debug LEDs on the motherboard, but none appear, and there’s no reference to them in the manual. I’m guessing the Gigabyte B650M K model doesn’t have debug LEDs.
It seems the board communicates via speaker codes rather than traditional debug LEDs. Did you receive a 4-pin speaker in the package?
It seems your top strategies are: 1) remove the CPU, inspect for bent pins, 2) if everything checks out, reinstall it and retry, 3) if issues persist, consider returning the motherboard and CPU. Also, have you tested it with just one RAM stick? It might be that one is faulty.
