It's just a question I have about my situation. Not sure why my posting would suggest anything else Big Grin. I could ask apple but... well we all know neither Apple nor their users know an awful lot. Usually I just google my ass off but it's a rather specific problem and so far I haven't been able to find anyone else who had the same issue. Plenty of people whose wifi doesn't connect, but mine is connected as soon as I open the lid, I just get no IP address.

I'm sure Apple understands their business, but reaching out often leads to very basic responses (reset the PRam, yadda yadda). I've never visited an Apple store or Genius bar, yet from what I've noticed they seem to sell used parts. No detail here. I don't know if this is typical for the model, it's a problem I'm facing and I can't find anyone else discussing it online. Probably not widespread, and since I couldn't locate any solutions, I thought sharing this would help. So far, more questions Big Grin.
