Hey there, I'm trying to figure out a tricky issue with my setup. I'm using an ASRock B450M Pro4 board, a Ryzen 3700X processor, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM (8GB x 4). After several boot cycles, it seems to reset itself like it's failing overclock, losing the XMP settings. I'm currently running BIOS version 4.90 (the latest), but tried versions 4.60, 4.30, and 4.20 without fixing the problem. I also ran Memtest86 and didn't see any errors overnight. The memory speed keeps dropping back to 2133MHz during this reset behavior. Anyone have any ideas? I'm hoping Anthony's video might help, as he covered this board before. Thanks for any advice!

Check if any BIOS parameters are updating beyond just memory. If defaults are being restored, replace the CMOS battery. If only memory changes, adjust speed, timings, and voltage manually, possibly reducing performance. The memory kit speed isn't specified here.

Only memory is involved. It runs at 3200MHz.

Then avoid using xmp; adjust it manually or simply set the xmp value and reduce the memory speed to around 3000mhz or similar.
