I recently acquired Robocop(rogue city), a retro NES title I haven’t played before. I’d say the Wolfenstein titles. A few are truly amazing when it comes to gunplay with a wide variety of weapons and upgrades. The humor is also great, though maybe a bit lighthearted. Just check out the picture for the simplest mode—perfect!

I haven't tried Robocop yet, though I've heard some positive feedback about it. Here are a few more casual shooters that come to mind (I'll add more if needed). Duke Nukem 3D, Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, The Operative, No One Lives Forever, Judge Dredd, Dredd vs. Death Serious, Soldier of Fortune, MDK 2, Blood Postal 2, Shadow Warrior, Ion Fury, Timesplitters 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Gunslinger.
