LTE modem compatible with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet connection
From the title, it seems you're looking for a 4G LTE modem or router with a minimum of 2.5 Gbps Ethernet speed.
Why? There is no point as you're never going to see a 4G LTE signal anywhere near gigabit even. For 5G UWB or similar it might make sense eventually but that's so limited right now it's pointless for anyone to bother right now. IIRC the spec for 4G LTE is somewhere between 500Mbps and 1Gbps on the upper end.
I agree you're onto something great. You just secured an excellent SIM offering with top-tier internet speeds (87.16/21.51 Mbps). I was looking to upgrade to the best LTE modem, and since you're getting a 2.5 Gbit Ethernet NAS, it makes sense having such a strong connection. However, it turns out it's not the right fit for you.
In this scenario, I’d opt for a standard LTE modem paired with a 5-port 2.5GbE switch to maintain local performance without breaking the bank. You already have one of these and they perform well: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B08XWK4HNT
Thanks for the suggestion! Since you just moved into your grandfather's house, you're planning to upgrade the whole place with a brand-new Ethernet setup, starting with a 2.5 Gbit device.
