I just noticed the reply I received—it was a notification for the board chipset limiting RAM speed. It makes sense that you're right; focusing on the RAM you need isn't worth the extra cost. Building a system around specific RAM won't add much value. If you have a good deal on RAM, it might not be worth worrying about.

I purchased 3200 DDR4 2x8 modules for $100 or 78 USD including shipping and taxes. I considered buying cheaper options, but local computer parts are limited in my area. Shipping added extra expense since I’m far from most stores.

Don't stress too much, friend. You don't have to stick to boards that require 3200 RAM. The B class boards will function fine with RAM up to JDEC speeds, which is all you need
