It's true many folks in the area are there too. Some people are pushing for over $100 on an AM3+ 970 Aura. On the other hand, I've found some unusual offers on motherboards—my Z170 OCF cost me $40, my R3BE board came with a $60 board price tag plus 12GB RAM and a 990x, plus that GA-Z87X-OC deal. Overall, used hardware deals seem to be plentiful here.

Look at eBay first, probably. Different sites vary in how competitive they are for used hardware, so you might find better deals in some areas.
