Lower the tendency for windows to snap when moved.
Lower the tendency for windows to snap when moved.
Hi, I'm dealing with three monitors and often need to rearrange windows in browsers, software, folders, or images for my multimedia work. The Multitasking Snapping feature works well when splitting windows, but sometimes I prefer dragging them without snapping. It seems the snapping sensitivity has increased recently. Previously, I used gentle drags, now it prompts me to snap constantly. I'm trying to use the Window key + Arrow for faster replacement of multiple windows, but it feels slower. Can anyone suggest ways to lower the snapping sensitivity without turning it off? Also, would it help to set a delay—like 0.5 seconds—before a window snaps? Thanks!
Switching between displays affects how snapping works, and speed plays a big role in whether it catches the movement. Moving quickly might miss it, while going slowly helps it register.
Version 1909 is still in use. I often apply Windows updates. It's good to know my experience isn't typical since few others face the same issue.
