Everyone is current. I might just reset everything again, just in case. There could be an issue somewhere.
I executed DDU, reinstalled the NVIDIA drivers, updated the game on my NVMe storage. Restarted the application and it started at around 60 FPS on a high-resolution setting of 3440x1440. After closing and reopening, the performance fell back to around 40 FPS. I believe there might be an issue with the game itself.
I purchased it during the discount period. I eventually identified the problem mostly. It involved Acronis and some malware flags on the game. Turning off active protection improved performance significantly. Such a frustrating situation, huh?
