Low profiles on the 3080...?
Yesterday I upgraded my 3070 to a 3080 with 12GB RAM and noticed a big drop in game performance—frequent spikes and overall sluggishness. All drivers are installed, but the issue persists. Have you checked for any missing components or overheating concerns? Could it be a CPU bottleneck? I’m curious if others have faced similar problems with this setup. Thanks!
Show the Driver Uninstaller, it will erase all remnants of the GPU driver from your system to prevent problems similar to what you're facing now before adding a new graphics card. It's strongly advised to use it to resolve these issues. The uninstallation through Windows isn't effective enough for this task. I'm not claiming this is the exact cause you're encountering, but it's quite likely. Use it to delete the driver and then reinstall a fresh one.

I understand it's already fixed, but based on my experience switching from NVIDIA to NVIDIA, you can also perform a clean installation of your drivers by checking the small option in the NVIDIA driver installer. This method has consistently helped me and doesn't require using DDU.
