Used my current machine for some time now and noticed my performance is quite lacking. Ac4 freedom runs at 15-40 fps, Arma 3 at 5-57 (around 20 fps), Ac3 at 15-35 fps (drops when looking at trees early in the level). Watch Dogs 15-38 fps. My hardware specs are: FX 8350 stock clocks, R9 290 stock, 8GB RAM, 1333MB, 160GB Samsung HDD, 500GB Caviar Blue SSD, Cooler Master B700 700W PSU, plenty of fans including a Hyper 212 EVO for the CPU. Other games generally work but are slightly below expectations. Playing at 1600x900 still shows the same problems on my 1080p TV.

Check Unigine Valley and other benchmarks to gauge your setup. Compare performance with similar systems online. Consider running optimized titles like Bioshock Infinite for a fair test.

Recent stable drivers are up to date. I achieve about 61.5 fps in Unigine Valley. It begins at 60 but falls to roughly 30 near the end.

Open Unigine Valley and observe the results. EDIT: I notice you've already tried this. Perhaps reinstalling the drivers would help?

Alrea has completed this update. It's a new Windows version with some games installed. I saw it slow down slightly when spawning in Crisis 3 but it improved afterward. The issue disappears after a restart and another attempt.
