Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit drained. I've been working on fixing latency issues on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42 laptop, which I use for both DJing and work. Sometimes it freezes so much that audio stops working, which is really frustrating. I've done everything: cleaned up Windows 10/11, updated drivers, adjusted power settings, disabled several programs, even changed the BIOS. Still nothing seems to work. It feels like my old laptop isn't up to today's standards. But I'm not sure what might be causing this. I'm planning to install Windows 7 just to see if it resolves the problem. If anyone has any tips or fixes, I'd really appreciate it! I'll share my latency test results tomorrow. Thanks! ♥

I don’t have access to current laptop specifications. Could you provide the model details or confirm if you’d like a general overview of typical specs?

It's a CPU model AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, GPU RX560X, 8GB RAM at 2400MHz, with an SSD of 480GB. The Ntoskrnl.exe is showing up everywhere in LatencyMonitor.

If this helps!
👍 Thank you for your question!

Summary of findings:
- Your system struggles with real-time audio and may face interrupts, clicks, or pops.
- Some DPC routines run too long; check BIOS updates.
- LatencyMon detected delays around 0:26 minutes.
- CPU usage is high—consider turning off variable speed settings in BIOS.
- Latency to DPC latency peaks at 594.50 µs.
- Interrupt service routines take longer than expected.
- Hard page faults occurred, possibly affecting audio.
- Review processes using the "Processes" tab for audio-related issues.

Let me know if you need more details!

Do you possess the most recent laptop BIOS updates? Have you saved the newest AMD chipset drivers from AMD? Are you utilizing the built-in sound card? If yes, do you have the latest Realtek drivers installed? Are you able to perform system modifications such as adding RAM or swapping the CPU? What is the temperature performance like? Have you executed these commands via cmd (admin)?

SFC identified some issues. The Bios and drivers were affected. The Iobit Driver Booster was attempted but didn't resolve the problems.
