GPU usage isn't really helpful unless you understand the actual frames per second it's reaching and the typical maximum for that game. Also, when v-sync is turned on, it will reach the refresh rate of your display.
It makes sense that such a setup runs smoothly with those components. Have you tested other tougher titles?
It looks like you might be confusing how computers operate. If the game doesn’t require much of your system resources, it won’t use much power or processing.
