Hello, I'm looking for assistance
I just installed a new desktop featuring a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 2060.
Regardless of the game, whether it's fullscreen or windowed, the frame rate often drops sharply to 10-20 frames per second, and I experience significant input lag.
The only workaround I've tried so far is switching between tabs frequently.
I don't know the exact cause, but I've updated the drivers from AMD and NVIDIA, turned off Superfetch, dynamic tick, and the game bar.
I also have 16 GB of RAM with temperatures staying below 70°C.
Refresh your drivers via the Device Manager, then install the latest updates for Windows 10 and restart the system. Check if this improves performance, as drivers can significantly affect speed. My partner updated her drivers on a brand new laptop and noticed a noticeable boost in stability and consistency.
