When testing performance, I notice my FPS stays stuck around 6 to 12. The stuttering feels real and can be frustrating. I’ve faced similar problems with the RD2 test. Could it be related to a faulty GPU? Also, there’s talk that AMD 7800x3D struggles with high-speed RAM—swapping from 16GB to 32GB might help. Have you tried that change?

Other steps I’ve taken without improvement:
- Disabled Expo
- Turned off PBO
- Removed two RAM sticks and tested with 32GB
- Updated drivers, firmware, and software
- Switched to Fullscreen mode
- Disabled ray tracing, FSR2.1, V-sync
- Reseated GPU after removal

Regarding your RAM question: Yes, switching to a 32GB configuration could improve stability, especially if you’re using high-speed modules. Just ensure your motherboard supports it and check compatibility.

Confirm temperatures throughout the benchmark for both CPU and GPU. Monitor clock speeds on both systems. Two sticks tend to be more consistent than four, unless your four are stable, in which case you don’t need to swap them.

Stutters aren't caused by broken parts. The problem likely lies with drivers or another kind of restriction (such as asset streaming). Identifying the exact source of these issues is difficult.

I'm conducting a DDU and will keep track of my temperatures at the upcoming benchmarks.

It's fascinating. I've realized through this journey that pinpointing the root cause of problems can be surprisingly tricky. My average FPS and other stats seem off compared to what my hardware should handle, but it's just the occasional minimum dips causing a noticeable stutter while playing Cyberpunk.

The NV2 is an extremely slow SSD, so don't rely on it. Have you checked if the 980's firmware has been updated to prevent unnecessary slowdowns?

I performed another benchmark and monitored the GPU performance. A log file is available if it would be useful.

I verify the firmware right after purchasing the 980; it’s already up to date. Cyberpunk is set on my main OS drive, while the 4Tb Sabrent doesn’t have it installed.

CPU temperatures are being monitored. There was a problem with my system due to faulty software. I’m checking the clock speed of my RAM as well, along with general details like CPU performance. This information should assist in diagnosing the issue.
