As discussed. I also don’t think altering the configuration files is the same thing.

I was correct about keeping it low; it really boosts performance by tweaking the INI file. All set and looking good, as long as they share those tips, right?

In reality, it's actually a bit funny—they don't assume users will adjust settings just to achieve higher frame rates that might go beyond their monitor's refresh limits.

I’m using the highest options and carefully followed the video’s guidance. It resolved the problem, so I reset the in-game settings back to maximum with RTX enabled and achieved over 140 FPS as expected. While I don’t fully grasp the message you’re trying to convey, I’m now getting the performance I was aiming for.

The configurations become unnecessary when you alter the ini file.

What’s going on? I’m not sure I did it. I only changed the config file to a 6 core render count and adjusted it to match his settings in the Nvidia control panel. The rest of what he did in the video wasn’t done.

Sure, I understand. Focusing on the frames you need is key, but the method used definitely impacts image quality. Adjusting ini and NV settings can turn off certain effects even if they’re set in-game. Also, some benchmarks fail when changes are made in the NV panel because they boost performance while reducing overall quality—a contradiction to the performance goal.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems there hasn’t been a noticeable drop in image quality, and my focus was more on the frames. This game appears to be well-optimized for PC.

Sure, I understand. It really comes down to what matters most. For me, I need 60fps with locked resolution and top-notch image quality. I've noticed Jayztwocents suggest prioritizing performance by setting texture quality to "performance," which supposedly gives a bit more frames without noticeable loss. I gave it a try, but the games felt much less smooth—definitely not ideal. Still, adjustments can help boost performance, though it doesn’t guarantee a great experience.
