You've upgraded your PC to match the Signature specs, yet The Witcher 3 runs at 85-87 FPS on a 1440p display even with moderate GPU and CPU usage. It’s possible several factors are affecting performance—check for driver updates, background processes, or GPU settings. Also, ensure your display is calibrated correctly and that you're not experiencing any input lag. Let me know if you want help troubleshooting further!

A fresh installation paired with GeForce Experience could function well without damaging your drivers, so removing them shouldn’t harm your system.

DDU fresh install completed. My setup includes an i5 4690K at 4.7GHz, an AORUS GTX 1080 Ti, and I’ve pushed 1440p to 8xAA HairWorks. Average FPS stays near 100.

Skip GeForce Experience completely. Using the built-in MS display driver keeps the system running, but it won’t provide any gaming speed.

My setup is nearly identical to yours with a 6700k and 1080Ti, delivering around 100fps. DDU won’t affect your system in any way. No concerns at all.

You'll still face the same problems since leftover files from previous drivers will continue impacting speed. Run DDU, then reinstall GeForce Experience from scratch. Let it download and install the new driver. Don't let GE update drivers automatically—each fresh driver is necessary to clear any remaining issues in the system and registry.

So after completing the DDU process, it’s only recognizing one screen and blocks any further downloads, telling you to use a desktop instead.
