I just assembled a new PC with a Ryzen 9 5900X, G.Skill Trident 3600MHz C16 RAM, and GT1030. It’s only reaching around 90fps for a CPU-heavy game, even though it’s optimized. I’ve disabled HPET and full-screen scaling but haven’t seen any improvement. What adjustments might help?

It seems the issue might be related to the GPU. Although Valorant is CPU-intensive, performance depends on the GPU. You can test this by switching to 1080p and observing the speed. A 90 FPS at 1440p is typical for an RTX 3060, and benchmarks show little variation between high-end and lower-end CPUs. Also, send me a friend request. OppaBoi#Death

Updated to 1080p with stable frame rates around 90-200fps. Remains uncertain since my older system (i7-4770, GT720) achieved similar performance at 1080.
