I usually maintain about 120fps in CS:GO at 1280x720p on a 2070 Super with an i7 6700k. I’ve checked numerous online resources to fix the problem, but I’m still looking for someone to assist.

Is your display running at 120 hertz and do you have G-Sync or Free-Sync activated?

It runs at 144Hz and I don’t rely on any syncing. A 120Hz is also considered average. When I enter a private match without bots, I can achieve up to around 200fps, but it still feels a bit low compared to what I expect.

You can monitor hardware performance in real time while playing the game. Each component like CPU and GPU shows a "Load" area. If one part stays low while the other stays high—such as GPU at 25% and CPU at 100%—it indicates a potential bottleneck linked to your CPU.

Currently not on my PC, but I can try it later. If useful, I've used Task Manager before—CPU and GPU stay at about 50%, temperatures around 50-60°C.

It seems you're looking for alternatives to the information already in Task Manager. Could you clarify what you need?

I completed several tests and monitoring tasks. My CPU operates near 90% during an in-game benchmark in CS, while my GPU stays around 20% at 60°, increasing to about 90% when a smoke grenade is thrown and the angle reaches 60°. When using Unigine Superposition, my system scores 19202, matching other comparable setups. In CPU-Z, my CPU hits the reference benchmark up to 99%, and temperatures never spike excessively—thankfully with solid cooling. It’s really confusing since some people are running the game on i5 6500 CPUs with RX580 at 1440p and achieving around 309 FPS, yet I’m only getting 220fps at 720p. This inconsistency is frustrating because it seems there must be something missing or overlooked in my setup. All hardware appears functional and performing well in tests, but the in-game experience is far from smooth.
