The MSI afterburner data suggests a potential graphics card limitation. It’s likely the drivers need updating, possibly causing rendering issues. The RDR2 version should be confirmed, and the strong bottleneck seems unlikely with the Strix RTX2080. The issue might stem from an underpowered power supply, as the GPU isn’t utilizing the required voltage.

It seems RDR2 is running on a 12V system. For better performance, consider upgrading to a 650W PSU or higher wattage if needed.

Asus suggests a 650W power supply unit, which can either provide full capacity or most of it at 12V. Choose a reliable PSU, not just the cheapest option with 650W listed. This was important because I faced problems resetting the CMOS/BIOS repeatedly, even though the PSU advertised 600W. Gigabyte recommended 650W for their RX 5700 XT, and we fixed it by upgrading the PSU. At that time, several boards were nonfunctional, but CMOS adjustments helped. Two of those boards are still working. I have positive experience with Seasonic and Corsair.

Thank you for your patience while I answered your question. I purchased a 700W EVGA BQ PSU, which has received positive reviews on several sites. I’m confident it will work as expected. I’ll send you an update once I receive it, likely by Friday. Appreciate your kind words!

Hello, your new PSU seems to be working fine, but the GPU is only drawing 130-150W. It might be a GPU issue or something with the power delivery. You've checked both PCIe slots and changed the BIOS to Gen3, yet the problem persists.
