Activate Future Frame Rendering, you likely disabled it before. This will significantly improve performance. FFR works best when turned off only on faster systems with superior CPUs. A CPU upgrade is advised because your card struggles heavily in BFV due to its 4-core, 4-thread configuration.

Also, consider swapping your single 16GB drive for two 8GB drives. It won't be expensive.

I've tested FFR both on and off, but the results were minimal. Upgrading the CPU seems necessary, though some friends with similar or older CPUs perform better at higher graphics settings. In my area, a 2x8 is priced the same as a 1x16.

Or with a different 16gb stick — why downgrade and lose the value of the first one.

Selling the 16GB stick and purchasing two 8GB units remains more economical than acquiring a fresh 16GB stick. It's likely you don't require a 32GB model.

I’m wondering who will purchase a single 16GB RAM stick. I understand others might have similar needs, but I’m looking for someone with a perfect match.
