Hello, I'm having trouble with ~50 fps in GTA V using my RTX 2080. My system configuration is: Asus Rog Strix B450-F motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, MSI RTX 2080 Tri Fan, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32Gb 3000mhz RAM, running Windows 10 Pro. All drivers have been reinstalled and updated, BIOS and software are current. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The maximum core speed for the 2700x is 2933mhz, supporting OC up to 3000 or 3200mhz. Setting the XMP profile to 3000mhz in the BIOS caused memory stability problems on Windows, leading to file corruption and frequent crashes. Changing the RAM speed to 2933mhz resolved the issue, but it still resulted in blue screens with around 100 different errors.

What is the quality? If you're using 4K, this should be about standard frame rate for GTA5 on a 2080.

It's extremely difficult to diagnose this from a distance. Generally, this behavior is highly unusual—something is definitely amiss, so check for viruses first.
