Hello there,
I’m wondering if I might be facing an issue, since games like Warzone I experience around 40-50fps.
My system specs are: GTX 1080 Ti, I7-4790 @ 3.60GHz, 8GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro 64bit.
Is this actually a problem or is the FPS I’m seeing normal?

Wow 98C?? I believe we've identified the issue. Clean the cooler as soon as possible, or maybe replace it altogether. Get some thermal paste—prices are around 5 dollars or less—and repaste the CPU, then reinstall the cooler. I'm confident this will normalize everything. The main concern is your CPU is overheating; it's likely slowing itself down to avoid burning out.

the main issue is the RAM. No matter how powerful the CPU and GPU are, Warzone will still cause problems with just 8 GB of RAM. The recommended minimum is 8 GB, and 12 GB is better. I recommend getting a 2x8 GB package. Also, lower the settings if they are set to high, which is the simplest way to boost performance.

But it's not just a warzone. For instance, CSGO would operate at about 200 fps, which is ideal, but nowadays the frame rate is around 80. Is this the same issue?

Hello,
FazDak!
Could you tell me the settings you use for Warzone?
How much CPU and GPU usage do you experience during your gaming sessions?
What type of RAM are you running?
Also, there could be a CPU bottleneck since your CPU is relatively outdated and can't keep up with the GTX 1080 Ti's speed.
And Warzone seems to require a lot of memory.
Best regards,
Matt!

Currently, CSGO is running and the memory consumption is approximately 16%. The overall usage stands near 60%, with the CPU operating at about 40% in general.
The RAM configuration is 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 798MHz, as listed in the specs.

Well, are you seeing your CPU operating near full capacity while the GPU is barely functioning below 90%? That might indicate a CPU bottleneck. Even if both CPU and GPU usage seem low, it could still be a CPU limitation: as long as you can maintain higher FPS (meaning the GPU isn't limited by a cap), performance should remain stable at full load.

The problem might also stem from an outdated driver (which you should update) or a faulty latest driver (in which case downgrading might help). Another possibility is an incorrect Windows update.

I keep updating the drivers whenever new ones are released. But it remains unchanged.
