There’s probably not a big difference in performance between the two, but the £10 option might offer better quality and durability. If the threads are stripped, it’s worth checking the fit before deciding.
Typically cheaper ABS plastic options are available, or there are fewer intermediaries involved—most likely I bought the $1–3 backplates and mounting components from China on eBay, and I haven’t encountered any problems.

Both components are made of metal. The CPU mounting slots are crafted to ensure metal makes direct contact with these slots. Everything looks fine. I’d choose the more affordable option if that were my preference.
