When I overclocked my GPU suddenly, my PSU started making loud static sounds during games. Later, the system froze with a very loud beep and had to be reset. After resetting the OC to default settings, the GPU no longer reaches its stock clock speed. My PSU is a cooler Master MWE 500W. Should I need to buy a new PSU?

The fans on the MWE units usually operate noisier at higher speeds.

I’ll try to keep it brief. I overclocked my GPU and the screen froze with a buzzing sound. I went back to factory settings, but now my PSU produces static noise when the GPU is under heavy load. Should I replace my PSU? What’s its make and model?
