I own a gtx970 that I've misplaced its screws for. It was watercooled and the bag it came in was lost. I understand these parts are available on eBay and similar sites, but my country's customs are quite strict, and eBay/Amazon don't deliver here. Another possibility is to use an older graphics card, such as a GT 210, and salvage the screws from it—especially those with springs for the heatsink. Would you think that would work?

It's very hard to say. I personally kind of doubt it. If there is a computer repair shop near you they will have them however

I ended up doing exactly that. I visited a scrap yard hardware store and picked up all the necessary screws. The card functions properly and overclocks at the same temperatures as before.
