I possess an Acer Swift 3 laptop equipped with an Intel i5-8250U, MX150 GPU, 8 GB RAM, and a 1080p display. I tried applying Lossless Scaling's AMD FSR scaling to the games I usually play, hoping it would improve my FPS. However, even after reducing the game resolution from 1080p to 720p and using Lossless Scaling, I still experienced a 25-50% drop in FPS. Could this be because the FSR isn't properly optimized or it only functions on AMD systems?

Noting the reference details. The impact of FSR varies by game type. If the game is CPU or IO constrained, it won't affect performance. The specific title wasn't provided, but there are known cases where Lossless performs better or worse. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...2604146904

I tested it on CS:GO, Forza Horizon 5 and ETS2 so far. All experienced the same issue—FPS dropped consistently. Even though my GPU is limited, especially in Forza Horizon 5, I have to say the i5-8250U CPU isn’t very strong either. Perhaps that’s why it happened.

From what I understand, your card isn't listed on the approved testing database. The official list includes various AMD graphics cards that support AMD FSR, though other GPUs might also function: AMD Radeon 6000 Series, 6000M Series, 5000 Series, VII, RX Vega, and several Radeon models. Additionally, compatible CPUs such as AMD Ryzen desktop chips with Radeon graphics and mobile CPUs featuring Radeon Graphics are mentioned.

Execute it using IGPU, it should function properly.
