Hey, I noticed something unusual happening with your server. After restarting or shutting it down, the internet connection suddenly disappeared. It still works on your local network—you can ping it and SSH into it from your main PC—but you can't run speed tests or update devices. Your DNS server is active thanks to Pihole, but you lose internet access when you disconnect the Ethernet cable from any device like the NIC, patch panel, or switch. You're using Ubuntu Server 20.04. Any clues about what might be causing this issue?

It seems there might be a technical problem. You're trying to restart by unplugging the cable.

I've faced several software issues recently, possibly due to a problem with the user settings or alias usage. When unplugging the Ethernet, it seems the service might need a reset. It's a bit unfamiliar for me, but I'm trying to figure it out.
