Hello, I'm facing a problem with my computer. Every time I restart it, it falls into a boot loop. It keeps restarting and occasionally after five attempts it finally boots normally, sometimes needing about thirty minutes to start up properly. Once it launches, everything works smoothly for days or weeks without any problems. This isn't a software issue since it also happens when booting from USB (like Ubuntu Live). I've tried several diagnostic steps but haven't found a solution yet. I ran Windows repair commands, changed BIOS settings and updates, adjusted configurations, removed and replaced memory sticks, performed memtest overnight, updated the SSD firmware, checked via Samsung diagnostics, disconnected peripherals, changed the GPU, and even replaced the motherboard. The last thing I did was swap the motherboard, which seemed promising. Still, it keeps looping or failing to start after a few restarts. I've already performed a Windows reinstallation before, this has been happening for about four months now. After selecting the drive and formatting, it restarts normally, but once it boots, it immediately enters a loop. It eventually reaches the next stage after some time, but it remains the same as shown in the video earlier. Additionally, when I boot Ubuntu from the USB drive, I get to a menu where I select my desired action. However, when I choose to start the live CD, it often fails and causes a reboot. After about 15 attempts, I successfully got into the live system without any issues.
Hibernation is turned off. I managed to get a new Ryzen 5 5600 at the local store; I’ll pick it up in about an hour and then check. (Thank you for the return option in 14 days via the shop, as required by EU rules)
