I've been working on assembling a PC for my friend to improve his gaming experience at home. I assembled it with a mix of parts: AMD FX 4130 4GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 750ti motherboard, and Gigabyte GA-78LMT_S2P. The system powers up and shows video but freezes when trying to access the screen below.

Have you attempted to reset the CMOS? On an older motherboard, a jumper might be necessary. Alternatively, take the battery off the motherboard for some time. If you remove the USB storage and retry, what results do you observe?

I attempted to connect the CRL_CMOS but the issue persists. Also tried disconnecting the USB while using the OS, but the same problem remains.

I believe the next step would be to update the BIOS—can you even access the BIOS to make changes? Besides that, I’d suggest disconnecting everything that can be taken off, like dismantling it piece by piece and reassembling it. Start with the GPU and RAM since they’re simpler, then move on to the CPU, and finally tackle the rest.
