Do you have Ethernet running inside the walls? - Yes? Placing a few access points at strategic spots would be ideal. - No? Likely a mesh network would work better.

I’m clear about the need for a noticeable slowdown when using Wi-Fi. I’m not hoping to find a single router that can mimic that issue. Instead, I think having two access points would be better. I plan to purchase one router now to test its performance throughout the house and another if required. Overall, I’m seeking a solid, dependable device that can handle future demands.

The Netgear Mesh stands out among the best I've encountered because it employs dedicated channels for communication instead of relying on the standard 2.4GHz network, unlike many other mesh systems such as Orbi.
