Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I've looked at some good options that are available. I have several GPU choices: Radeon RX 9070 XT, GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. I also found some CPUs: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, and AMD Ryzen 5 9600X. My budget is getting a little bigger now because the total cost is €2500. Looking at the benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 5080 looks like it has the best performance. But I'm not sure if paying more for it makes sense since the boost over cheaper options seems pretty small. I feel the same worry when looking at the Ryzen 7 9800X3D compared to the 7800X3D. Maybe the Ryzen 7 9700X or even the Ryzen 5 9600X is a better deal, depending on how well balanced performance and price are right now. That being said, I want this system to last longer into the future, so I'm okay spending a bit more today if it means better long-term results and durability for me.

My advice doesn't change much for most people. You can easily get more RAM by buying extra memory for about ninety euros, or add another couple of terabytes to your storage, and even go all the way up with a new CPU. If you already have enough stuff in your computer right now, it's not worth spending too much money on upgrades because you won't notice much benefit. Anything over thirty-two gigabytes of RAM is probably useful if you want to keep this PC for more than just two or three years later. With only a few open tabs and one game running, I can run most modern games at full speed using just thirty-two gigs of system memory. The new 5080 Super card might actually be the better long-term purchase compared to what you have now. Thanks everyone for reading!
