Hello there, I'm sharing this update as well. I've already shared it on the Discord server, but I'm reaching out to more people. I've installed a new fiber connection along with two pieces of hardware. The problem is that my modem only has one Ethernet port, while the router has ports for 2.4 GHz and another likely for 5 GHz. Since most smart devices use the 2.4 GHz band, I'm connecting it to that port. Would a basic splitter work for both bands? I intend to connect my PC directly, so I might need a splitter or switch even if I only want it for myself. Alternatively, would upgrading to a better router simplify things? The old setup had 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz ports but used the 2.4 GHz one for Ethernet.

I think you are confused. The leftmost port of your Eero (the one that the yellow cable is currently plugged into in the second pic) is labelled 2.5, indicating it supports a 2.5Gbps wired connection. The right side is maximum 1Gbps. This is not related to the Eero wireless access point broadcasting a 2.4GHz or 5GHz signal. Your wired setup is fine. Just use the Eero app to setup your WiFi access point and you're good to go.

Sure, I can help with that. Connecting a splitter to your PC is definitely achievable. It depends on the type of splitter and your setup, but most modern devices support this connection. Just ensure the splitter is compatible with your network requirements.

Connect your PC directly to the last port. For additional devices, use an Ethernet switch.

I will not assume anything, so apologies for yet another Q: The current plan I have is 1 gig, but there is a plan for 2 gigs which the family might get. I assume that the 2.5 port is both able to accept 2.5 as well as out-putting 2.5.

You’d likely need an Ethernet switch or a wireless router supporting at least 2.5 Gbps ports. Connect the switch to your Nokia fiber-ethernet device, then link your access point to the switch or router, and finally connect computers to the same device. Keep in mind that if your home devices use 1 Gbps Ethernet cards or the switch only has 1 Gbps ports, their performance will be limited—even with a faster ISP connection—the bottleneck will restrict overall speed across the entire setup.

Don't stress about it. Your board is an Aorus X670E with a 10-gig port available.
