Consider AMD Ryzen 6900X, I9-9900K, and ROG Maximus XI setup. You want better CPU and motherboard options to fully utilize your GPU.

7800X3D, 7700X, various AMD CPUI options, newer 9xxxx models, and most B650 boards. A few Intel CPUs outside Gen 13 or 14. Others' setups are often shown in their naming conventions.

I noticed a significant boost in average frame rate and a huge jump in lows from my [email protected] all-core setup to the Ryzen 7700x. My RTX 4080 really shines now. The biggest improvements are seen in Hell Let Loose, Metro Exodus, and Tina Tina's Wonderland. The 9900k is clearly aging—actually a Skylake CPU from 2015 with a lot of power. It’s not doing very well.

Same situation for me too. I dropped from 9900k to 7700x, then to 7809x3d. The Intelyo and jump were great, but the AMD to AMD wasn't as impressive. I was also running a 6900xt until recently. I’d definitely upgrade to at least 7700x, preferably the 7800x3d bundle from God's Favorite Store... Microcenter.
