Hello everyone, I’m planning to upgrade my AMD FX 4300 CPU to a higher-end AMD FX series. I only need to replace the processor and have the following hardware specs: an Am3+ GIGABYTE GA-78LMT USB3.0 motherboard and 8GB RAM (with an extra slot available). I’d appreciate your recommendations on which processors are compatible with these components.

An 8300, 8310 or 8320e would make a great upgrade. This motherboard should work fine out of the box.

Check for FX 8xxx CPUs available in stock configurations. Consider updating the BIOS to the newest version prior to modifying the CPU.
