Connect one end to your router and power it through the wall. On the opposite end, plug it into the wall and connect it to your computer.

any location functions are fine, yet identical circuits are favored. clearly, in most cases the same circuit isn't feasible, otherwise you'd simply use a longer Ethernet cable.

The same setup delivers the quickest results. Ensure all devices share the same power phase. In the US, we use two 120V lines to supply the panel. Each circuit must connect to the identical 120V line; otherwise, performance may suffer greatly. Also watch out for heavy loads or motorized equipment on the same circuits, as they can create interference risks.
