Looking for ways to optimize your ASUS GPU?
Recently I've experienced some issues with the software. It worked well for months before things began to behave oddly. Initially, the fans wouldn't turn on until they reached 90 degrees, after which they ran at normal speeds. This happened a couple of times. Later, I noticed it constantly set the minimum power voltage to its maximum. After reinstalling, the fan curves became distorted and I couldn't make any changes. The voltage problem persisted, and now I'm encountering driver crashes almost every ten minutes. What's going on?
Have you considered reinstalling or updating the GPU driver? Also, performing a full uninstallation of GPU Tweak—removing all related folders and files—might help.
You might consider using MSI Afterburner. In the end, they all serve the same purpose. They are essentially skins built on RivaTuner, which uses Nvidia's NvAPI and AMD APIs—sets of tools from Nvidia/AMD to interact with graphics card drivers for overclocking. If it fails with MSI Afterburner, the issue is likely in the drivers. If it works, the problem lies in the ASUS skin layer of RiverTuner, and you can keep using MSI Afterburner as it remains the same at the end.
