I own a Lenovo AIO 700 24ISH ideacentre PC, yet I struggle to manage the CPU fan speed. I've tried various apps like Msi Afterburner and HWiNFO64, but they don't detect or adjust the fan. The cooling policy is active in power settings, but I'm unsure how to enable full-speed operation. I intend to sell this unit soon and want the next buyer to be able to control the fans easily. Can someone assist me?

It seems Lenovo may have disabled certain features or locked the BIOS. Also, afterburner and HWinfo64 restrict CPU fan speed adjustments. This issue occurred with my HP Envy 24' AIO earlier.

It seems fans were really excited about Lenovo laptops, but the BIOS didn’t let you tweak fan speeds like it did with HP’s AIO models. I managed to update the BIOS on my PC, yet the fan speed controls remained missing. I’m curious how it’s wired inside.

If it's an AIO, the fan is likely linked to the board via a special connector that offers limited information. Generally, laptops and AIOs don't let you adjust the fan settings, except perhaps on high-performance gaming models. This is because users who switch from a regular laptop to an AIO usually don't want to deal with such customization options.
