It could make a difference to view the story in high resolution, like 4K or even 720p.

If she’s covering the internet bill, she can manage how it’s used. You might request she reduce the video quality while she watches.

If you're not covering the costs and want to avoid upsetting someone who pays for the service, I won't assist. You might consider suggesting a lower quality stream or having a conversation instead.

Open the router interface and look for QoS settings. You can then either restrict MAC addresses or specific websites.

It's one thing to be frustrated with someone watching random content in 4K, but it's completely different not letting the person who pays for the service enjoy it as they wish (that's why I support the internet fees :p).
