I’ll mention this: If you purchase Netgear products, turn off logging. This helps because logs can slow down your router’s performance, leading to poor connections, drops, and high latency. I experienced the same problem with an Asus router, though only at certain times. It seems this might be specific to Netgear, but after disabling logs and connecting it to a reliable UPS, it’s been very stable for years.

Determine whether their router has any special steps for accessing the service. Some providers rely on PPPoE or particular VLANs. A practical test is to connect a device to James rather than the router and observe if it functions normally.

Connecting a PC and PS5 via Ethernet, while using iPhones and iPads, seems possible. Devices can link through wired connections.

What price range are you aiming for? I'm uncertain, but anything seems acceptable. How much personalization do you require? Not clear, just updating the name and password would suffice. Also, do you need a mesh setup or prefer a single router? No requirement for mesh.

Absolutely understand the issue. Changing the Wi-Fi settings often leads to errors, and reaching out to your provider usually confirms restrictions. It can be really annoying when you're trying to fix something simple.

I also reached out to my service provider, and they informed me I can't make any changes. Isn't that surprising?

This reading increased my stress more than studying pharmacology for the first time—really tough to handle.

In this scenario, a solid 6E router appears to be an excellent option.
